We are FuzzyBot, a new independent video game studio founded by former AAA devs, focusing on creating co-op games that bring players together across genres and generations.
We are building a stylized co-op game at an intersection of action and social gaming for the HD space (PC, Switch, Xbox and Playstation) by combining the joy of creation found in a life sim with the thrill of replayable action combat found in a roguelite.
We are looking for a Gameplay Engineer who has experience working closely with designers and other disciplines using UE4 throughout the full cycle of development to join our Engineering Team. You will closely partner with the Gameplay Technical Director and gameplay designers to build new gameplay systems and expand on existing ones.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with designers, engineers, and other members of the content team, to implement new systems and features on UE4 and C++
- Iterate on and add content to existing systems
- Ability to quickly prototype features to stand up a proof of concept to iterate on prototype with designers and other disciplines before solidifying the design and moving to a scalable/shippable implementation
- Architect features and services with a mind towards operability and scalability.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Excellent C/C++ programming skills
- 5+ years of professional game programming experience
- Flexibility and desire to work on a variety of game systems
- Experience developing with Unreal Engine 4/5
- Advanced optimization and debugging skills

Salary Range: $125,000 - $165,000 USD
