We are FuzzyBot, a new independent video game studio founded by former AAA devs, focusing on creating co-op games that bring players together across genres and generations.
We are building a stylized co-op game at an intersection of action and social gaming for the HD space (PC, Switch, Xbox and Playstation) by combining the joy of creation found in a life sim with the thrill of replayable action combat found in a roguelite.
We are looking for an experienced mid-level UX/UI Designer to help make the game easy to understand and fun to play. In this role, you'll work closely with game design, art, and engineering to create the user-facing experience of underlying gameplay systems and designing and implementing menus and menu flows in the game.
Responsibilities:
- Support our Sr UX Designer in establishing our UX Style Guide to help build a stronger and more consistent user experience across the product
- Take complex game mechanics, identify necessary task needs, and formulate UX strategies to best communicate with end users
- Design and produce user flows, wireframes, storyboards, prototypes, and other UX artifacts necessary to plan for feature implementation
- Regularly gather feedback from internal, external, and personal playtesting to identify opportunities for game improvement
- Collaborate with the Engineering team to implement and test designs within Unreal and iterate on design solutions within the Engine
- Form a strong understanding and advocacy for multiple player personas and be able to critically evaluate UX problems and solutions with those perspectives
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience as an UI/UX designer on HD games (PC / Console)
- Comfortable with technical implementation using Blueprints and UMG within Unreal Engine 4
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or FIGMA

Salary Range: $90,000 - $130,000 USD
